1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use cupidclinics.com or book any service through it. The website and services are provided by Shedvin Health Tech Care Private Limited, operating as Cupid Clinics (“we”, “us”), with its registered office at Room No. 202, 2nd Floor, Lotus Paradise Centre, Bunts Hostel Road, opposite Utsav, Kodialbail, Mangaluru, Karnataka 575003.
By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book our services.
2. Who can use our services
You must be 18 years or older to book services through this website. If you are under 18 and need sexual health care, please call us and we will guide you on how to access care with the appropriate consent.
3. Our services
We provide:
- Doctor consultations, in person at our clinic or online
- HIV, STI and other laboratory tests, processed by NABL-accredited partner laboratories
- Home sample collection, where available
- PEP and PrEP consultations and care
- Pre-test and post-test counselling
Services, prices and availability shown on the website may change. The price you pay is the price shown when you complete your booking.
4. Not for emergencies
Our website and online services are not for medical emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call 112.
If you think you may have been exposed to HIV within the last 72 hours, contact us or any hospital immediately, because PEP must be started as soon as possible.
5. Online consultations
Online consultations are provided in accordance with India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. The doctor will decide whether your concern can be safely managed online. If an in-person examination is needed, the doctor will tell you, and some medicines can only be prescribed after an in-person consultation.
6. Booking and payment
- Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. You will receive a confirmation by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card or banking details.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees. Healthcare services, including consultations and diagnostic tests, are exempt from GST under applicable law.
7. Your responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Give accurate information about yourself and your health, so we can care for you safely
- Use your own contact details, so your reports and messages reach only you
- Attend appointments and sample collections at the agreed time, or tell us in advance if you can’t
- Book services for another person only with that person’s knowledge and consent
- Treat our doctors, counsellors and staff with respect
8. Lab tests and results
- Tests are processed by NABL-accredited partner laboratories.
- Every test has a window period: the time after exposure before it can reliably detect an infection. A test taken too early may give a negative result even if infection has occurred. Our doctors can advise you on the right time to test.
- No laboratory test is 100% accurate. Results should be interpreted by a doctor, together with your history and symptoms.
- Free counselling is available to explain your results.
9. HIV testing and confidentiality
We follow the HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017. HIV tests are done only with your informed consent, with counselling before and after the test. Your HIV status is kept strictly confidential and is disclosed only with your consent or where the law requires it.
10. Reports and messages
Reports and messages about your care are sent to the email address or phone number you give us. Please keep your email and phone secure, and tell us immediately if your contact details change.
11. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
12. Information on this website
The health information on this website is for general education. It does not replace a consultation with a doctor, and you should not use it to diagnose or treat yourself.
13. Use of this website
You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, interfering with how it works, submitting false bookings, or using automated tools to collect information from it.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Shedvin Health Tech Care Private Limited or is used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our written consent.
14. Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, through qualified doctors and accredited laboratories. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
- Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control
- Problems caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provided
- Losses that are not a direct result of our services
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Terms that apply to a booking are the ones in force when the booking was made.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
